Falcon Timber, part of the CTH Group, has an extremely successful Door Technical team who have continued to grow and develop their presence and secured a reputation as market leaders in their field. Our technical team has a need to expand as we support our customers and trade partners through the changing compliance and certification environment. We have grown from a team of 2 to be 5 in just 5 years and have plans to further expand as we move into our purpose built R&D facility. Falcon Timber develop their own door products having a depth knowledge of fire doors and fire door construction. We rigorously test all our door products to comply with relevant European & International Standards and are committed to remain ahead of the market for specification compliance and therefore can drive the commercial outcome. Does this sound like a team you would like to join? We are currently looking for a Building Regs & Compliance Coordinator to support the teams activities, managing the day to day flow of queries that come in from customers, suppliers and colleagues. This is a brand new role and has masses of scope to really add value and evolve as the team continues to grow. These will be your core responsibilities: Provide verbal and written responses to customer and supplier technical queries in a timely fashion and agree follow up actions. Assist with the testing and certification process ensuring they are carried out to the required standards. Keep the CRM system updated documenting all customer interactions and diarise follow up calls as appropriate. Have input into the department planning and managing projects Coordinate the procurement of materials, sundries and laboratory services for testing and other development projects. Keep up to date on changes in legislation and attend any webinars, events and training courses as appropriate to maintain the desired level of technical competence. What are we looking for in a candidate? Someone who can read and interpret technical specifications, so you may be working in construction, product design, engineering or an other highly regulated field with an understanding and appreciation of technical requirements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to fulfil the requirements of a certification process. A good communicator who can relay technical detail to a range of audiences, often in lay mans terms. Well developed IT proficiency in all Microsoft packages and able to pick up new systems quickly What do we offer our employees?
