£32,500 per annum

Colten Care are looking for a full-time experienced Graphic Designer to join our well-established and driven in-house Marketing team. Our busy and creative department values both traditional design and modern media to bring our brand to life. You will create innovative, effective and high specification designs for projects ranging in size and complexity.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Using a creative brief as your guide, you will ensure the brand’s identity stays consistent while applying your graphic design skills to meet project needs. You’ll create designs that achieve the desired goals, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
* With excellent attention to detail, you will undertake relevant research content thoroughly and ensure editorial, grammatical and spelling accuracy.
* As part of your professional development, you will stay up-to-date with the latest graphic design tools and trends, sharing ideas and best practices with the team. You’ll collaborate closely with in-house designers, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing.
* You may occasionally lead creative projects, showcasing strong leadership skills and a clear vision.
* Our creative team thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to stay calm under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and respond positively to feedback.
About You
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally within a busy agency environment or in-house creative studio.
* Experience in print marketing as well as digital.
* Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). An understanding of Premier Pro, After Effects and XD would be extremely beneficial.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
* You will be an effective and highly motivated team player with a flexible approach and strong multi-tasking skills, able to work proactively and show initiative on projects.
* You will take pride in your work and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to manage relationships across multiple departments.
* Ability to work proactively and independently, and as part of a team.
During the interview, we will ask you to present a compelling portfolio that showcases your design craftsmanship, creative flair, typography expertise, and overall design capabilities.
