Job Responsibilities
This key position at our largest store is involved in all aspects of the shipping and receiving of equipment. Responsibilities of this position include:
* Assisting in the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound self-propelled agricultural equipment
* Consulting the scheduling software to prioritize daily activities
* With direction from the Transportation Coordinator, arranging loads for pick up
* Using a rough terrain forklift, loading and unloading non-self-propelled equipment, large parts orders, etc.
* Working with our Service Department and Parts Department when heavy forklift is required
* Inspecting loads and gathering proper documentation to bring equipment into inventory
* Organizing equipment displays to maintain a professional yard image
* Performing general warehouse and yard maintenance
* Managing and making effective use of the warehouse space
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* An individual with a positive attitude who takes pride in the quality of their work
* An attentive, reliable and conscientious individual to handle high value equipment
* An individual who enjoys interacting with other great team members and customers
* The ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work
* Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving abstract
* Strong communication and organization skills
* Experience with forklifts and agricultural machinery would be a major asset
* Proficient using computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office software
