They are looking for an experienced Responsive Repairs Manager to lead our repairs and maintenance teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality repairs across our housing stock.
Your new role
* Leading and managing a team of operatives, contractors, and supervisors to deliver an effective and efficient repairs service.
* Ensuring all repairs are completed on time, to a high standard, and within budget.
* Managing contractor performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Monitoring service performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices.
* Developing strong relationships with residents and ensuring excellent customer service.
* Managing budgets effectively and ensuring cost efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in managing a responsive repairs service, ideally within social housing.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in motivating teams and managing performance.
* Excellent knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and health & safety legislation.
* Experience in budget management and cost control.
* A customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
* Strong IT skills, with experience using housing management or repairs scheduling systems.
* A full UK driving licence.
