Location: East Harptree Nursery, East Harptree, Somerset
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Salary: Starting at £25,459 per year, based on experience and qualifications
Holiday: 43 days paid holiday per year

The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Child Care Professional who is not only passionate about child development but also motivated to build a career in early years education. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in providing high-quality care and activities that encourage growth and learning for children aged 0–5.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional care in a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment
* Develop and lead age-appropriate activities that foster physical, emotional, and cognitive growth
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
* Observe and record children’s progress, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Encourage outdoor learning in our beautiful rural setting
* Support daily operations, including routines for meals, nap times, and transitions
Requirements:
* Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification in Early Years or equivalent
* Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for early years education and a desire for career growth
* DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
