Interviews for this role will be held on 27th & 28th February 2025 Main duties of the job Core Responsibilities Care Delivery : Lead and support statutory health assessments, ensuring sensitive, age-appropriate care that respects choice, culture, and diversity. Partnership Work : Collaborate with safeguarding teams, social care, foster carers, and other agencies to promote the health and well-being of children in care. Health Coordination : Oversee health reviews and assessments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual agreements and legal frameworks. Clinical Expertise : Deliver evidence-based, high-quality nursing care to support healthy lifestyle choices and improve health outcomes for children in care. Key Activities Conduct holistic health assessments and attend multi-agency meetings. Support access to appropriate health services within the community and secondary care. Escalate concerns to the Named Nurse for Children in Care as needed. Provide clinical guidance to colleagues while maintaining accountability standards Training and Supervision Support and deliver safeguarding and Children in Care training initiatives. Participate in appraisals, supervision, and reflective practice to support colleagues. Contribute to training evaluations and implement improvements. Governance and Policy Assist in policy dissemination, case discussions, and monitoring of significant events. Contribute to audits and the development of safeguarding processes.
