Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall, Telford or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home. The role You will complete product reviews to inform the product group risk profile to drive out potential areas of customer risk. This provides continued assurance to the wider business that our products deliver good customer outcomes, drive fair value, and prevent foreseeable harm. This includes the assessment of longer-term ‘closed’ and ‘open’ products across the Group including Phoenix, Standard Life, Sun Life, ReAssure, and Sunlife of Canada products. Product reviews must be delivered in accordance with our plans and targets and in line with regulation and internal risk appetite and frameworks. You’ll be responsible for ensuring product reviews are well scoped, risk is appropriately evaluated, and findings are clearly and concisely articulated and documented and presented. You will be required to actively engage with a wide range of stakeholders and SME’s from across the Group. Strong planning and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders within a complex organization will be key. You will be an excellent report writer and your attention to detail and accuracy is key as well as being able to zoom out and consider big picture thinking and connect dots to understand the relationship between various risk factors. The role will suit someone who can think critically and consider problems from all angles and make sense of complex and multiple information points to draw out the ‘so what does this mean for our customers’ question. You must be able to plan and manage your own workload and your stakeholder needs within planned reporting cycles. You will need to keep abreast of how developments in the market and the regulation a Life and Pensions company operates including the Consumer Duty requirements. We would love to hear from you if you have experience of writing reports and a reputation for getting things done, and the resiliency to move at pace and make a positive impact. What are we looking for? Good understanding of Life and Pensions products and the regulatory context in which a Life Pensions business operates and related Consumer Duty expectations. Excellent report writing skills and proficient in using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Critical thinker and make decisions by considering problems from all angles with an eye for detail/accuracy. Good interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Resilient initiative-taker with ability to work on multiple workstreams to achieve Goals.
