We have two exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to join our team as Assistant Directors of Workforce. Opportunities within our people function are designed to cultivate talent and provide a clear pathway for career progression. Main duties of the job
Assistant Director of Workforce - Workforce Planning and Information
Responsibilities include:
* Leading a centre of excellence for strategic delivery, advice, and support on workforce planning and information matters
* Implementing effective workforce planning controls across the organisation for both substantive and temporary staff
* Providing dedicated senior support to the Chief People Officer for reports and information to the Trust's Remuneration and Appointments Committee
* Ensuring all aspects of workforce planning and information are focused on diversity and inclusiveness to assure accessibility and equality for all staff

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Masters or significant experience
* Evidence of continuous CPD
* MCIPD, or equivalent experience
Experience
* Significant experience of employee relations
* Up to date knowledge of the NHS strategic people agenda and people priorities and the Trust's strategy.
* Significant experience of working at a senior level in a HR or managerial role within a complex organisation
* Complex project management and change programme experience
* Able to take the strategic overview whilst giving due attention to detail
