About the role Gain valuable knowledge and experience of Consenting and environmental management processes during construction of an offshore wind farm Working in an industry-leading large organization Industry events and stakeholder engagement Environmental Impact Assessments, marine licensing, Development Consent Order and NSIP planning Actively support the team e.g. with Consent or licence applications Writing and reviewing key documents, minutes, presentations, and trackers Assistant project management tasks Engagement with regulators/statutory stakeholders (e.g. Marine Management Organisation, The Crowne Estate, Natural England, Local Planning Authorities etc.) Job requirements and experience You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Environmental science, Environmental management, Environmental biology, Renewable energy, Geography, Marine biology, Oceanography, Marine sciences or similar Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement Looking at your current performance overview you are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher You have very good verbal and written communication skills You’re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with You’re open to travel to other sites if needed. Travel expenses will be covered by us Motivation is crucial.
