My exclusive client is a smallpany which has a friendly,mitted team with many years specialist experience providing support and education to young people. The business is ambitious with plans to grow headcount and open new sites in the next 12 months.
Your new role
Due to their recent success and subsequent growth, this agilepany is keen to add support to their team by hiring a dedicated, organised HR Assistant based in Southampton. You must have a flexible approach and a willingness to change direction or focus in this varied, exciting new role as the business evolves in theing months and years. This opportunity will suit someone who has a positive mindset and will share the ambition of the team who aim to offer young people the chance to gain a wide range of qualifications through bespoke learning.
Given that this is a brand new role, the Managing Director is happy to consider people on a part-time or full-time basis working between 25-40 hours per week. This position is office-based in Southampton due to the nature of the role and sector, but they are very flexible around start / finish times and hours / days per week (although hours over 5 days, Monday-Friday is preferred). Please note an Enhanced DBS check is required.
What you'll need to succeed
This position will support the business with general HR administration, recruitment and onboarding (including DBS checks), managing employee files and processes, training and a variety of other responsibilities as required. A CIPD qualification is preferred (Level 3+), but someone with experience as an HR / People Administrator / Assistant or similar, or someone looking to move into HR from a general administrative role without this qualification will be considered.
