Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Management: Lead the strategic promotion and sales of products within the designated region. Conduct thorough analysis of competitor products in the market and provide insightful feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning. Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
2. Client Relationship Development: Identify potential clients, including university labs, research institutes, hospitals, and other relevant entities. Proactively engage with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements. Take ownership of daily business affairs and meticulously follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
3. Sales Achievement: Set, track, and achieve sales targets while also managing payment collection objectives. Craft innovative strategies for customer acquisition and development tailored to the regional clientele profile, thus driving sustainable growth.
4. Negotiation and Collaboration: Demonstrate adeptness in independently conducting business negotiations and maintaining harmonious business relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate seamless project execution.
5. Business travel required.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Possess a Master’s degree in life science (molecular biology, genetics etc.). Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor's degree will also be considered based on merit. A PhD with a background in life sciences is an added advantage.
2. Language Proficiency: Exhibit fluency in both spoken and written English, enabling effective communication with clients and colleagues.
3. Sales Expertise: Accumulate a minimum of 1 years of sales experience within the biological sector. Preference will be given to candidates with prior exposure to the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) domain.
4. Business Acumen: Showcase strong business negotiation skills and a proven ability to execute projects. Display heightened market sensitivity and an innate capacity to integrate available resources efficiently.
