EYFS Teacher – February 2025 start

We are currently seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to work in the Whitworth area.
Location: Whitworth.
Pay: £120 - £150 per day.
Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with children to ensure they engage with the curriculum and their learning.
* Have a calm and nurturing approach to ensure children are happy and positive.
* Support children and families during their transition to Primary School.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons and continuous provision, so that children can achieve their full potential.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners and those with additional needs.
* Work with Teaching Assistants, parents and other professionals e.g. SENCO, educational psychologists to support pupil development.
* Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Be committed to the safeguarding of all pupils, ensuring you adopt school’s policies and participate in regular safeguarding training.
* Ensure children are assessed and progress is recorded so that feedback can be provided to children, parents and SLT.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
* Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have effective behaviour management strategies.
* Understand child development.
* Enhanced DBS certificate.
* Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Excellent understanding of safeguarding.
