Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS - GCP - DevOps - Automation - CI/CD - Terraform - London - Miller Maxwell is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join an expanding electronic brokerage in London, seeking to expand their automation and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cloud Engineer:
* Design and implement automated global cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts using Terraform.
* Improve automation processes for both cloud and on-premise environments with tools like Ansible and Python.
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate and operationalise new technologies.
* Work closely with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture.
* Support development and operations teams with building servers, virtual environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Assist the Linux team in deploying and maintaining software, operating systems, and hardware using Ansible and Terraform.
* Plan and manage system capacity to ensure scalability for development, QA, testing, and production environments.
* Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience for the Senior Cloud Engineer:
* Proven commercial experience years of building, and managing systems on AWS and GCP platforms.
* Extensive DevOps experience, including CI/CD, deployment strategies, monitoring, and automation.
* Systems monitoring tooling experience Grafana, Nagios, Splunk.
* Unix – Linux environment experience.
* Containerisation experience is essential with experience of: Kubernetes or Docker required.
* Automation Experience such as; Ansible, Python, Terraform.
* Experience with build, release, and version control systems like Git and GitLab.
* Strong expertise in AWS network and security management.
