Location: Birtley, NE England Salary: £52K - £55K to start, depending on experience Benefits: 8% on target bonus, pension, car, etc Hours: Fulltime Mon to Fri Duration: Permanent A world leading industrial gases and engineering company urgently require a Project Engineer to join their Customer Engineering Services (CES) team; responsible for installation and maintenance activities and equipment projects at customer sites. This role will take you to multiple sites and locations in North East England. Training will obviously be provided on the company’s systems, equipment, and processes. Responsibilities • Run equipment projects at customer sites in safe, timely and cost-effective way • Identify appropriate design solutions to meet customer process demands and develop cost effective proposals • Identify, prepare, and submit all required project documentation including Risk Assessment Method Statements, installation test packs and comprehensive handover documentation • As a safety-first organisation, you will pro-actively champion and participate in project process and safety, health, environment & quality initiatives • You will get the opportunity to contribute and participate in continuous improvement ideas • Work collaboratively and provide technical support to the CES team but also with Sales Requirements • Higher National Diploma (HND) or degree in an Engineering discipline. • Circa 2-3 years relevant post education experience in a project-based engineering role • Able to scope, cost, and prepare project installation proposals • Proven ability to manage multiple small projects across different locations simultaneously • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be required to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders • Full UK driving licence as this role will take you to multiple sites and locations • You work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being a safe and inclusive workplace To Apply This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company offering career progression.
