Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Fast Track to General Manager
Location: Par Sands Holiday Park (initial base for training), Cornwall
Hours: 43 hours/week (weekend working required)
Accommodation: Available if required
Position: Full-time, training and development role with a view to promotion within 12 months
Start Date: As soon as possible

This role offers a unique opportunity to undergo an on-the-job development programme with the goal of becoming a General Manager of your own park within the Southwest region or potentially elsewhere across our UK portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
As an AGM, you’ll work closely with the General Manager at Par Sands, gaining hands-on experience across all key operational areas and business processes. You will play a vital role in ensuring the park runs smoothly, delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of health and safety, retail operations, and team management. After completing your development, you'll be ready to step up and manage your own park!
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the holiday park
* Ensure outstanding customer service is delivered at all times
* Oversee retail and health and safety protocols
* Collaborate with and lead teams to meet business goals
* Attend key sales and operational meetings in locations such as Birmingham, London, and Portsmouth
* Maintain high standards of numeracy and literacy to support business operations
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working within the holiday park or hospitality sector as a head of department is essential.
To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrable experience in several of the following areas:
* Retail operations
* Health and Safety management
* Exceptional customer service
* Team leadership
While Par Sands will be your base for the duration of your development, the General Manager role you are training for may be located at any of our parks across the Southwest or elsewhere in the UK. Flexibility and a willingness to relocate are key!
