Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for dry lining projects within budgets ranging from £500k to £3 million. Analyse tender documents, technical drawings, and project specifications to produce robust pricing strategies. Develop detailed cost breakdowns for dry lining systems, including metal stud partitions, suspended ceilings, and plasterboard finishes. Work closely with project managers and the commercial team to identify cost-effective solutions and ensure projects are delivered within budget and timescales. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain high standards. Lead and develop estimation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide detailed updates and forecasts to the Commercial Director, ensuring risks and opportunities are clearly communicated. Key Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator in the dry lining sector, with a comprehensive understanding of materials, systems, and construction processes. Expertise in pricing a range of dry lining works, including high-rise and residential developments. Strong knowledge of current building regulations, construction standards, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications. Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
