The Successful Electrical Fitter /InstallationEngineer / Workshop Engineer will provideelectrical fitting and assembly of rotating machinery including motors, gearboxes, engines and similar in the Aberdeen workshop. Responsibilities include ensuring installation, troubleshooting issues, and testing systems to meet safety and performance standards before dispatch.
The Electrical Fitter /InstallationEngineer / Workshop Engineer will ideally have expertise in electrical wiring with proficiency in reading electrical schematics for accurate assembly and troubleshooting electromechanical engineering, particularly in areas such as wiring and fitting of pumps, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, or similar rotating equipment.

Electrical Fitter / Installation Engineer / Workshop Engineer Role:
* Perform electrical fitting of motors, gearboxes, engines, and other rotating equipment in the workshop.
* Conduct electrical fault-finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical systems, including pumps, valves, electric motors, and similar.
* Diagnose machinery faults, identify damage, and carry out essential electrical testing procedures.
* Ensure all electrical components are properly fitted and operational prior to delivery.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Liaise with various engineering departments
Electrical Fitter / Electromechanical Engineer / Workshop Engineer Requirements:
* Proven experience in a role such as Electrical Fitter, Electromechanical Engineer, Hydraulic Fitter, Valve Technician, Service Engineer, or similar with an electrical fitting bias.
* Strong background in electromechanical engineering, particularly in areas such as wiring and fitting of pumps, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressors.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
* An engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) is advantageous but not essential.
* Willingness to commute to the workshop based in Aberdeen
