Does the idea of joining a firm at the beginning of a new chapter and developing your career as they grow motivate you?
We are excited to be working with this Cambridge accountancy practice, who are at the beginning of a new transition, with a revised senior management team and exciting growth plans.
Part of their plans include the recruitment of two new key team members, one of which is an Accounts & Tax Senior whose primary function is to provide services to a mixed portfolio of clients meeting their accounting needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accountant as you will be mentored to, in time and when you are ready, manage your own portfolio. As an experienced practice accountant, you will be encouraged to work independently with confidence within the team.
Whilst providing statutory year-end accounts and associated corporate tax returns, the Accounts & Tax Senior will:
1. Develop and maintain sound relationships with clients, responding to and answering queries on behalf of the Account Manager.
2. Work toward becoming the primary point of contact on your assigned clients to prepare you for managing your own portfolio.
3. Increase in the complexity of tasks.
4. Assist junior team members when required, reviewing completed work.
As well as an attractive salary, the firm offers a bonus scheme, flexible working, generous annual leave, subscriptions paid, and more.
To be successful in this Accounts & Tax Senior post you will have either completed your ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent, or be a few exams away from completion. Full study support will be provided to those who require it.
You will have proven experience of providing year-end accounts and corporate tax services to clients in an accountancy practice working to UK regulations.
From this, you have developed effective skills – communication, time management, active listening, working with team members, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, self-motivation, and customer focus.
