We are looking for a proactive and strategic IT Manager to oversee all technology-related activities within our group. About the role: As IT Manager, you will lead the management of hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring optimal performance and cybersecurity. You’ll play a key role in IT strategy and planning, collaborating with senior management to assess technology needs and implement innovative solutions. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with industry regulations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring robust business continuity plans are in place. With one direct report, you’ll also be responsible for developing and supporting our IT team, providing user training, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the firm. Key duties include: Manage the firm's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks. Oversee cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Lead IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives. Provide technical support and training to staff. Manage relationships with external IT service providers and vendors. Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Ensure the effective integration and maintenance of software systems. Oversee IT budgets, contracts, and service level agreements. Supervise and develop the IT support team. About you: We are looking for someone with previous experience in an IT Management role, preferably with experience in accountancy, finance, or professional services. You will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud-based solutions which will enable you to develop and implement effective IT strategies. You will have a keen eye for cybersecurity, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR. Key skills and attributes we’re looking for include: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and business continuity planning. Quick to identify IT issues and implement effective solutions. Able to manage and develop an IT team while effectively liaising with non-technical staff and senior management. Experience in overseeing IT projects, from software implementation to system upgrades. Confident in negotiating contracts and ensuring value-for-money services. A degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Relevant IT certifications (such as CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified Professional, CISSP, or ITIL). Experience with ERP and CRM systems would be advantageous.
