Job Title: Technical Trainer
Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, and delivering online technical training programs and certifications for our employees, customers, and partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver effective technical training programs on various topics such as software applications, programming languages, IT infrastructure, or specialized tools.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
3. Develop comprehensive training materials, including storyboards, presentations, handouts, and online resources.
4. Work closely with e-learning designers to create engaging e-learning content, including interactive modules, videos, assessments, and simulations.
5. Apply instructional design principles to structure content in an organized and learner-centric manner.
6. Customize training programs based on specific audience requirements and skill levels.
7. Assess the effectiveness of training materials through user feedback surveys or assessments and make necessary improvements for continuous enhancement.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends in technology advancements and e-learning methods/tools.
Essential Skills
9. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
10. Experience as a Technical Trainer delivering effective technical training for enterprise-level products and solutions.
11. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
12. Passion for education and professional development.
13. Near-native or native-level proficiency in English (other languages are a plus).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
14. Experience using rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise or Adobe Captivate.
15. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) for deploying and managing online courses.
16. Experience developing training for Cloud solutions.
