JOB PURPOSE
Our client is currently looking for top-flight Groundcare Service Engineers to join the Service Departments in Cirencester. You would be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team. While the work is technically challenging, our client aims to provide a well-structured training program. Much of the repair and service work is carried out on-site, so a fully expensed vehicle will be provided. The mainly mobile role means that every day is different, but you still retain the support of the base. The majority of their work tends to be with contractors, councils, schools, golf courses, and private estates.
JOB SPECIFICATION
1. Repair and service a variety of groundcare machinery.
2. Repair, maintain, and service fine turf machinery.
3. Have knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics.
4. During quieter times, you may be expected to complete some workshop-based servicing.
5. Deal with customers, ensuring they are happy with the service, repair, diagnostic, or warranty work undertaken.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
1. Previous experience in the agriculture, groundcare, or fine turf industry is ideal, but product training is provided.
2. Solid foundation, ideally possessing good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics.
3. Full UK Driving licence.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Maths and English to GCSE level.
6. A qualification in land-based or mechanical engineering.

A salary of up to £35,000 per annum.
