Senior Brand Strategist, JP, Amazon Brand Innovation Lab
Senior Brand Strategist in Brand Innovation Lab takes the lead in gathering data and research from across the Amazon ecosystem and beyond, to construct insights that drive creative briefs and campaign pitches, help clients better understand how to construct investment in Amazon, analyze results to help drive additional business, and help all parts of the Brand Innovation Lab org find opportunities to optimize our approach to brand strategy. The role will interface with clients, sales, various product and data/research teams, while working closely with Brand Innovation Lab's creative and program management team members.

Key job responsibilities
1. Work with various teams across Amazon to curate first-party data and research, pull third-party research, and leverage your experience and intuition to develop insights the creative team can use to develop creative campaigns and solutions to respond to client RFPs and briefs.
2. Stay informed on various market trends that are relevant to the top advertisers.
3. Become an expert on the various channels within the Amazon ecosystem so you can quickly assess customer behavior trends that are relevant to the media and creative solutions proposed.
4. Be a leader within the team on Amazon channels and customer engagement opportunities.
5. Work closely with sales and account teams, and Brand Innovation Lab Sr Solutions Managers on account planning and media recommendations that support creative proposals.
6. Work with internal teams to conduct a range of tests and studies (e.g., brand-lift study) to address specific client questions or needs.
7. Work with the team to conduct reviews of unsuccessful proposals to identify opportunities to improve our pitches and increase win rate.
8. Lead internal discussions regarding tracking and reporting requirements for all relevant campaigns to ensure we can report on what was promised in the pitch.
9. Work with the account team to conduct post-campaign reports and analyses of performance against pre-determined brand success metrics that help clients see the value of working with Amazon for brand campaigns, and to help sell through additional work.
10. Identify reporting opportunities using non-first-party data sources, like social media.
11. Help develop the Amazon story for why clients should feel compelled to work with Amazon by helping them understand how they can benefit from our customer obsession.
12. Blend quantitative and qualitative approaches to achieve outcomes.

A day in the life
1. Partnering with internal team about the feasibility of your proposal (e.g Amazon Music team to create unique event).
2. Leveraging customer data to build a unique creative insight.
3. Presenting a campaign to brand clients and their partner agency.
4. Idea creation with the team on innovative ways to get customers to learn about a new product.
5. Developing a concept and copy for assigned project.
6. Attend a regular MTG (both in local and global) to get a knowledge.

Amazon Ads supports advertiser's marketing activity on Amazon by using a variety of ads products and our unique solutions so that advertisers can enhance Amazon's customer's purchase experience and achieve their business goals. The Brand Innovation Lab within the Amazon Ads focuses on developing new and innovative solutions to enable our customers engage with brands in ways that enhance their experience of Amazon's consumer products and services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.
2. Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery.
3. Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers).
4. Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
5. Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
6. Experience of creating customer Journey and communication planning.
