FTC for an Accountant to assist the team with the reconciliation of the system and smooth management of the month-end process. This is a hybrid FTC role for 6 months for an international PE-backed SME in the technology sector.
The main duties are:
* Month end: assisting the team in the month-end duties of all entities
* Audit assistance and adjustments
* Financial data integrity: Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports
* Best practices: Advising on best practices for data warehousing and database management
* Reconciliations of the new systems
* Excel modelling
* Budgeting and forecasting: Contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process
* Preparing financial reports: Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
The suitable candidate will have a strength in Management Accounts but also ideally come from an audit firm and be looking to move into a role within C&I. Previous Sage X3 exposure is preferred. You must be able to use Excel to an advanced level and commit to the full term of the contract.
With a base salary of £65,000 PA pro rata.
