The successful Sales Manager will be easily able to commute to HUDDERSFIELD from surrounding towns and cities including Wakefield, Brighouse, Barnsley, Oldham, and Halifax.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creating a strategic long-term sales plan that aligns with the company's business objectives, focusing on market expansion, customer segmentation, and developing pricing strategies to drive sustainable growth.
2. Leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
3. Providing coaching and mentoring whilst fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
4. Setting and achieving ambitious sales targets, driving significant year-on-year sales growth.
5. Using in-depth knowledge of laser cutting, metal bending, welding processes, fabrication, and powder coating to leverage a competitive advantage during tendering or quotation processes.
6. Proven strategic sales planning experience.
7. Experience as a Sales Manager or similar within a metalworks environment.
8. Strong leadership and management experience.
9. Financial acumen relating to sales budgets and profitability.
10. Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven strategies.
11. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of securing high-value contracts.
