This role requires the person to demonstrate leadership in the delivery of BIM and Information Management, with proven ability to engage and drive both learning and delivery across multidisciplinary teams. \n\nAbout the role\n\nTypical responsibilities will include:\n\nFulfil the role of BIM Manager on projects that will range across the entire project/asset lifecycle (RIBA 0-7).\nLead a combination of VDC offerings such as: clash detection, automated rule-based checking, visualisation (rendering, VR, AR), construction sequencing and costing (4D & 5D BIM).\nCreate and maintain the project’s BIM/Digital Execution Plan in response to the client’s requirements.\nSupport our CDE Manager in configuring and maintaining the project's Common Data Environment, implementing processes and procedures to enable reliable information exchanges between stakeholders.\nEstablish and manage the projects BIM Collaboration Platform.\nImplement digital technologies and other cutting-edge methodologies to ensure progress and continuous innovation in the delivery of digital projects.\nPlan and lead relevant kick off meetings/workshops to support the project delivery team implementing BIM.\nProvide Digital and BIM support across multi-disciplinary teams and the various business units.\nCapture lessons learned for future projects and implement improved workflows.\nSupport the Digital Lead in the continuous improvement of current processes and procedures.\nParticipate in the company’s BIM working group to develop a multidisciplinary digital workflow across the company.\nProvide advice and support to teams regarding emerging technologies that will enhance and streamline their individual delivery processes.\nContribute to the wider Digital Initiatives within strategic groups including data and AI development.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience of digital best practice and BIM, along with having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an enthusiasm for team and self-development.\n\nEssential Experience:\n\n3D Modelling and analysis tools (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Tekla etc.).\nPractical experience delivering 4D / 5D models using appropriate software.\nExperience with the UK BIM Framework & BS EN ISO 19650 suite of documents.\nExperience within an AEC practice / environment.\nDemonstrable understanding of project processes, workflows and contractual obligations.\nAbility to author BIM/Digital Execution Plans.\nExperience developing and implementing Digital and BIM Standards.\nManagement and delivery of client’s information requirements on construction projects.\nExperience with multi-disciplinary teams’ integration on projects.\nExperience managing and configuring a variety of CDE process tools (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Viewpoint, Asite, Morta etc).\nA thorough understanding of the data, information management, BIM agendas within the UK and the standards and documents for implementation in engineering.\nDesirable Experience:\n\nProgramming or application development experience may be advantageous.\nExperience with VR / AR applications.\nAn awareness of BIM and GIS integration.\nAn awareness of facilities management software requirements and integration.\nDesirable Software Skills:\n\n4D Synchro Pro or other 4D sequencing tools.\nCivil 3D, Bentley ProjectWse, Aconex etc.\nExperience with VR / AR applications.\nAn awareness of BIM and GIS integration (GeoBIM app; ESRI).\nAn awareness of facilities management software requirements and integration.\n\nRewards\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a successful company that offers a very competitive salary, pension, and benefits package, along with many other fringe benefits.\n\nAs a business going through a strong period of growth there is excellent professional development support and great scope for progression.\n\nOur client has long recognised that their success is built on the expertise and dedication of their employees.
