Join Schroders as a Marketing Manager, Private Markets in the Schroders Capital Marketing team and spearhead innovative campaigns that elevate our brand's presence in the financial and private markets sector. This pivotal role directly contributes to the company's key growth strategy – private markets - by crafting targeted marketing initiatives at both the brand/capability level for Schroders Capital as well as its investment strategies, that resonate with professional investors both for the institutional and wealth segments.
In this role you will be working closely with several key stakeholders within Schroders Capital, such as the management team and the different capability teams. Other stakeholders encompass the expert teams within central marketing as well as local marketing teams to devise impactful marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and drive investor engagement.
As a key player in our team, you will analyse market trends and competitor landscapes, ensuring our campaigns remain cutting-edge and compelling. The team
We are one of the largest UK-based wealth management firms, headquartered in London but with offices around the country. We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long term goals by offering our expertise in investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services. We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, as well as having our own in-house investment team.

What you'll do
• The main deliverable of this role is to initiate and coordinate key initiatives to support brand recognition and sales enablement for our key investment strategies across all our private markets capabilities.
• You will monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using key performance metrics to inform future strategies and improvements.
• We expect you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, investment, and marketing, to drive cohesive marketing initiatives.
• Working collaboratively within the “Story package” environment, the marketing operating approach where central teams, including proposition, editorial, social media, PR, corporate comms and regional teams work together to formulate overall campaign and content strategy.
• You will (co-)develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns tailored to our private markets' capabilities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Developing the messaging framework and proposition for key products/capabilities working closely with Marketing, Investment/ Capability and Sales.
• Act as main point of contact for Private Markets marketing across the various investment capabilities.
• Work with the various campaign leads to produce relevant campaign assets i.e. product content, videos, educational material.
• Manage the central third-party event schedule for Private Markets.
• Support and advise the regional marketing teams with regards to Private Markets marketing and loop back local expertise into the central teams.
• Support the Product Marketing function around Schroders' wider strategic initiatives and priority funds.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• You must possess a good understanding of two or more private markets investment areas: private equity, real estate, infrastructure and/or private credit.
• You must possess strong strategic thinking skills, enabling you to develop and execute marketing plans tailored specifically for private markets.
• Demonstrating excellent communication and storytelling abilities, you should effectively convey our brand message to diverse audiences within the private markets sector.
• A track record of successfully managing multi-channel marketing initiatives is essential, as you'll be responsible for optimizing outreach efforts across various channels specific to private markets.
• You are expected to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners, leveraging these connections to enhance our presence and influence within the private markets' ecosystem.
• Having a creative mindset will allow you to innovate and introduce fresh ideas that differentiate us from competitors within the private markets landscape.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms will be helpful, as you will oversee the implementation of innovative campaigns targeting many different types of professional investors including – for example family offices - and institutional investors.
