Join our Team as a Mental Health Practitioner
Location: Barrow in Furness (and surrounding communities)
Salary: £26,000 per annum (Full Time Equivalent), pro-rata for part-time.
Contract: Part-time, 21 hours per week (3 days), 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

About the role:
As one of our Mental Health Practitioners, you’d be providing a pivotal role contributing to the development and provision of services to children and young people with mental health needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’d be assessing, planning and delivering much needed care, while supporting young people to build their brighter futures.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
* Level 4 diploma in Counselling (essential), Level 5 (desirable) and current registration with BACP
* A postgraduate or professional qualification as a children’s workforce practitioner (e.g. qualified teacher, youth worker, social worker, occupational therapist, healthcare practitioner or counsellor)
* A current and clean driving licence
* A Safeguarding Level 2 certification
Essential Experience:
* At least 2 years’ experience working with children and young people with mental health needs.
* Experience managing a caseload and delivering therapeutic interventions (1:1 or group).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for children, young people, and families.
