Role Summary
This post is for a Specialist Occupational Therapist who is passionate about rehabilitation.
Opportunities within this role include:
* Enhancing and extending assessment, intervention and clinical decision making skills with patients with a variety of clinical conditions.
* Setting patient centred goals, planning and implementing rehabilitation programmes with the MDT.
* Supervising Therapy Clinical Support Workers and Occupational Therapy Students.
* Working with an integrated Occupational and Physiotherapy Team.
About the Role
South Molton Community Hospital has a bedded Rehabilitation ward for patients who live in North Devon. The majority of patients are transferred from North Devon District Hospital. There are opportunities to deliver rehabilitation in a creative way; the team is passionate about delivering holistic patient care to support good clinical outcomes. If you are flexible and creative in your approach to work, enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team, and have an interest in developing yourself and others, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will be required to be an autonomous practitioner and have appropriate post graduate training.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working on the Acute site.
