We're hiring a Senior Demand Planner for a leading FMCG business based in West London (with hybrid working).
The business has performed well in recent years both in the UK and in its global markets.
The role will join an established supply chain team and will work closely with a number of major retailers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of product performance across multiple UK retailers, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and delivering on key internal and external KPIs.
* Become the go-to expert for your customers' brands, acting as the first point of contact for all queries—both internally and externally.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to drive collaborative demand planning, covering everything from core demand to major events, including promotions and new product launches.
* Build and nurture strong, influential relationships with your customers’ supply chain teams, leading regular review meetings and proactively challenging them when necessary to drive improvements.
* Leverage data insights from both internal and customer sources—spanning sales, forecasts, service levels, and stock—to enhance performance, optimise forecasts, and reduce bias. Deliver in-depth promotional tracking and reporting, with detailed post-promotion evaluations to inform future strategy.
* Champion best practices in Integrated Business Planning and Sales & Operations Planning, ensuring robust demand processes are in place.
* Continuously seek smarter ways of working, using data-driven insights to hit KPI targets and enhance operational efficiency.
* Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships with customers, driving shared benefits across logistics, shelf availability, and waste reduction.
Candidates should have
* Strong analytical skills and demand planning experience
* Experience working within FMCG, ideally with a perishable/short shelf life product
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build strong relationships.
* A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking opportunities for growth and efficiency.
* Proactive and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
Candidates can expect a salary of up to £58,000 plus a strong benefits package.
