Responsibilities: Working on HV substation projects across the UK Commissioning of HV switchgear and transformers Commissioning of control and protection Primary and secondary injection testing Current voltage / current power tests Complete commissioning reports Specification of new testing and commissioning equipment Review commissioning plans prior to the commencement of works Attend project meetings Liaising with Project Managers and other colleagues Requirements: Qualification in Electrical Engineering Experience as a Commissioning Engineer in the high voltage industry (132kV, 400kV) Driving licence This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of prestigious HV engineering schemes with a market leading organisation in the T&D sector.
