We are looking for a talentedNPI Project Engineerfor our client DENSO Marston, a global leader in off-highway cooling systems. You will play a pivotal role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. Your Mission
As a key player in our wider NPI function, youll be the bridge between design and production, ensuring a seamless process integration for all new product launches. You'll take the lead in defining, sourcing, and commissioning new jigs, tools, and fixtures, while coordinating trials and early-stage builds. Your role will be crucial in validating manufacturing processes to ensure every new product hits the ground running - on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Own theintroduction of new designs into manufacturingfrom a process perspective.
Lead thedesign, procurement, and commissioningof production tooling and equipment.
Create and maintain keyprocess documentationto support production readiness.
Drive cross-functional project activity, ensuringmilestones and deliverables are met.
Use theEngineering Change Management systemto monitor progress and track changes.
Coordinatetrial builds and validation, ensuring new products meet quality standards.
Communicate clearly and confidently withinternal teams and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report onobsolescence costs, ensuring financial control and transparency.
Required Experience & Skills
Strongproject management capability, ideally using tools like MS Project.
Proficient in3D CAD(Creo preferred) and interpreting 2D engineering drawings.
Demonstrated ability inprocess improvementand root cause problem solving.
Excellent communicator andteam player, with the ability to influence at all levels.
A confidentself-starterwho can make decisions, manage complexity, and lead change.
Understanding ofmanufacturing MRP systemsis a bonus.
Tenacious and motivated, with acan-do attitudeand drive to challenge the status quo.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree (or equivalent experience) inMechanical Engineeringor a related discipline.
