All roles Available (Both working to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern – Days & Nights rotation)
1. Automation or Electrical Engineers (x3) - £50k + Package.
2. Automation Engineering Shift Manager - £60k + Package
Automation / Electrical Engineers
As an Automation Engineer, you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our clients highly automated warehouses & systems. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
For candidates lacking Automation experience, the client is willing to consider electrically biased maintenance engineers.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment.
* Implement improvements and modifications to enhance system performance.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation.
* Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
* Document and report maintenance activities.
* Proven experience in automation engineering, ideally within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical skills, including PLC programming and robotic systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications.
Automation Engineering Shift Manager
The Automation Maintenance Shift Manager will oversee a team of c. 10-15 skilled engineers, ensuring that all maintenance and operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
* Manage and lead a team of 10 – 15 engineers and support staff.
* Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Monitor and report on team performance and operational metrics.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* 3+ years significant experience in an engineering supervisory or management role, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing setting.
* Proven track record of managing a team of 10 or more engineers.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications.
