GCA is a creative and professional civil and structural design consultancy with offices across the Midlands. We have strong connections to historic and conservation projects throughout the UK in addition to the more traditional engineering design projects using steel, masonry and timber.

Role Description
This is a full-time role and you will be comfortable in taking responsibility for project management and undertaking engineering tasks including calculations, analysis, and design. We believe in close collaborative working and as such we really enjoy our people being together, and we also embrace the benefits of collaboration through digital media which brings our people together from across the practice. We offer dynamic flexibility which enables us to benefit from people in our offices, but allows people to make choices to enable their work-life balance to be best achieved.
To achieve our designs, our engineers have access to a wide variety of design software including state-of-the-art 3D rendering and complex analysis.

Qualifications
* Minimum 2:1 BSc or BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering
* Six years post-graduate UK engineering design experience
* UK Driving license and transport
* Gained or working toward MICE
* Working toward MIStructE
Remuneration and Benefits
Starting salary from £42,000, dependent upon experience and responsibility.
