We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR M&A Manager to join our team, based out of our Huntingdon office with a hybrid working approach. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with business leaders, M&A project teams, and HR to manage the integration of newly acquired companies. You’ll ensure smooth transitions, build strong employee experiences, and help drive the success of each acquisition from a people and culture perspective. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to due diligence processes. Occasional travel across the UK may be required. Key Responsibilities as our HR M&A Manager: Lead the people and culture integration process for acquisition projects. Develop and execute detailed integration project plans, ensuring seamless transitions. Collaborate closely with M&A teams, integration teams, HR Operations, payroll, and HRBPs to achieve successful integration outcomes. Work alongside the business leadership team to manage communications and integration efforts. Support senior leadership in ensuring the best employee experience for incoming teams. Assist with TUPE consultation processes and manage communication at key stages of acquisition. Take charge of central services integration and support the growth model review process. Oversee payroll and pension integrations by understanding and coordinating plans for smooth transitions. Conduct due diligence activities, reviewing HR policies and processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements. Partner with HR Operations to integrate and harmonize benefits for transferring employees, ensuring access to key HR systems. Collaborate with HR experts to develop and implement training, policies, and guidance to enhance integration success. Lead and manage specialist projects as required. Prepare thorough handover documentation to support HRBP integration and performance post-transition. About you: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR, particularly in M&A integration and change management. You will also be or have: Proven track record of delivering successful integration projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and at all leadership levels. Experience in TUPE consultation and managing complex HR transitions. A strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and drive continuous improvement. CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
