As the Production Planner will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components. Working hours for the Production Engineer: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm What’s on offer for the Production Planner: Competitive salary up to £35,000 p.a. 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) Free parking Free drinks Pension Scheme Death in service x2 annual salary Staff referral programme Development opportunities Duties of the Production Planner: Process all new sales orders, ensuring routings selected are most economical and fully compliant with customer requirements Review specifications and drawings, providing technical support and assistance to any departments within the business that require it Create ITP’s / MPS’s based on customer requirements ensuring all technical and quality aspects are met Work closely with production planning to ensure that best route is chosen to suit the businesses current capacity and capabilities Dealing with customers regarding any queries of a technical nature where support is needed Performing contract review of sales orders and routings Deal with suppliers and procuring raw material / finished goods to meet customer demand The successful candidate for the Production Planners position will have the following experience: 3 – 5 years experience working as a Production Engineer/Planner (Essential) Looking into the best route of manufacture (Essential) Experience working within a machining environment (Essential) Working within a Fasteners environment (Desirable) Working with ERP Systems (Essential) Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
