We are on a HUGE RECRUITMENT DRIVE for one of our biggest clients who are based in the heart of Winsford Industrial Estate.

Welder Days:
You will be responsible for welding assemblies to a high level of quality. You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols. You will be responsible for carrying out precision measurements and accurately marking out. You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Following technical drawings and specification sheets
2. MIG welding to a high standard
3. Responsibility for your own PPE and welding equipment
4. Must be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targets
5. Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
6. Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
7. Maintaining production area housekeeping
8. Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
9. Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.
Skills and experience
This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have:
10. Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
11. High quality assembly experience of specified materials such as MIG welding, mild steel, 3mm – 20mm
12. Demonstrate skillset using various hand tools
13. Reading and working from drawings
14. Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained
Salary £34,096.00pa (£15.80ph), overtime available
Working Hours: Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday – Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.
You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
