About The RoleWe are excited to announce that having recently secured new funding from the Reaching Communities Fund, we have three exciting new vacancies available. These roles aim to build organisational capacity which will support the VCFSE sector in Suffolk and enable CAS to offer a wider range of services to meet the needs of the sector - aiding their work and strengthening their communities.
We are therefore seeking the following roles to join our team and work across the organisation’s capacity building and community action functions. These new roles will complement our existing team and drive forward our commitment to enabling a more sustainable and independent future for Suffolk’s voluntary sector.
Post 1: Rural Equalities Officer
18.75 hours per week
Actual Salary: £14,495.52 per annum
Term: Fixed term to March 2028
As the Rural Equalities Officer, you will support the momentum to address Equity, Diversity and Inclusion challenges faced by Suffolk’s VCFSE sector. You will have a particular focus on addressing rural inequalities.
Post 2. Community Development Officer
30 hours per week
Actual Salary: £23,192.82 per annum
Term: Fixed term to March 2029
As the Community Development Officer, you will support the sustainability of activities across a range of community action initiatives and capacity building services to strengthen and maintain support to the VCFSE sector within Suffolk.
Post 3. Impact and Social Value Officer
22.5 hours per week
Actual Salary: £17,394.62 per annum
Term: Fixed term to March 2029
As the Impact and Social Value Officer, you will support the VCFSE sector to make informed and data driven decisions, whilst also strengthening their ability to demonstrate their impact to leverage additional income and improve their sustainability.
These roles will suit individuals who have a passion for the VCFSE Sector and who can champion building capacity, efficiency, and sustainability. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and able to write and speak persuasively to a diverse range of groups. You will need to be driven, pro-active, flexible and resourceful as each role can have a busy and varied workload. You should also be confident working independently as well as having the ability to be a good team player.
Successful candidates will be proactive individuals with a can-do attitude and appetite for learning. We are looking for those who can communicate with a wide range of people with varying degrees of experience.
