About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Retail Development Manager to join our Booker and Makro Wholesale division. As a Retail Development Manager, you will report directly to the Retail Development Controller and work alongside a team of RDM's to form the Regional Retail Team. Your role is crucial in delivering the company's objectives through the engagement and delivery of the Retail Plan, working closely with your Premier and Family Shopper retailers to support and develop their businesses.
You will be responsible for
* Sales KPIs
* Contractual compliance
* Promotional compliance
* Customer Satisfaction, recommend score
* Supporting the delivery of the Company's key objectives
* Managing an existing portfolio of disciplined Premier and Family Shopper retailers
* Recruiting new business from competitor and independent retailers
* Challenging and advising on underperforming stores
* Ensuring feedback is shared with retail functions
* Supporting the creation of a culture which recognises the right behaviours
* Working collaboratively with your RDC & RDM`s
* Responsible for new business growth in your region
The purpose of this position is to manage a defined territory with the responsibility for sales, debt, margin, cash profit, and customer satisfaction, with an emphasis on sales growth.
