Description
We have multiple opportunities for Industrial Electricians around NZ to work with our nationally and globally renowned clients!
THE ROLE: INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN
Main duties are to ensure the efficient & uninterrupted operation of the production machinery. You will work closely with production to ensure that production targets are achieved & that any electrical engineering issues are resolved in a timely, safe manner & to a high quality.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE THIS:
* Already Fully NZ Licensed Electrician (EWRB)
* Proficient in electrical standards & regulations for industrial environments
* Minimum 3 years' industrial electrical experience
* Experienced with rotational shift patterns
* Computer literate
Knowledge of:
* Breakdown, diagnostics in time pressured scenarios
* Maintenance planning in FMCG manufacturing
* Specifying & working with electrical systems in hazardous areas
* PLCs, associated sensing and control equipment & SCADA systems
* Knowledge of safe working practices for HV systems
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics highly desirable
