Role Overview:
As a Support Worker/Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our school community, working closely with children who have SEMH needs in KS3 and KS4. Your primary responsibility will be to support the classroom environment, working alongside experienced educators to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for our students.
The starting rate for this role is £90 as a Trainee and it will increase based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
2. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
3. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting social and emotional well-being.
4. Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans.
5. Support the overall ethos and values of the school.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children is essential.
2. Genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
5. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
