We currently require suitably qualified individuals to join the Ultrasound team as a Bank Reporting Sonographer for employment across the Health Board at Withybush, Glangwili, Bronglais, and Prince Philip Hospitals.
Applicants must be a Registered Health Professional with an appropriate post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and evidence of relevant experience. There may be a requirement to work flexible hours to meet service demands.

Main duties of the job
You must possess excellent communication skills, be tactful, diplomatic, and able to work as part of a team in this busy department. In addition, you may be involved in the supervision of student radiographers.

Qualifications & Knowledge
* Degree or equivalent diploma
* Case Accredited post graduate certificate or diploma at masters level in Ultrasound
* HCPC, RCT or registration with relevant professional body eg:NMC, RCN, RCM
* Sound Professional knowledge of imaging modalities (Eg ANC/TV scanning, Non-obstetric scanning)
* Evidence of current CPD portfolio
* Highly specialist training in aspects of ultrasound
* Developed knowledge of a specialised ultrasound imaging e.g. Small parts or vascular
Experience
* Post registration professional experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging
* Experience of specialist ultrasound imaging techniques
* Experience with digital/PACS enabled ultrasound equipment.
Other
* Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner
* Flexible approach to needs of the service
* Willing to participate in out-of-hours working
