About the Role: :
Are you an experienced Business Continuity Manager looking to challenge and develop your career? Have you experience in BC programme management, design, implementation and validation practices?
Then this may be the role for you.
As the Business Continuity Manager, you will manage the BC and IT/OT threat analysis activities consistent with best practice, the BCI Good Practice Guidelines, ISO22301 and ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards, providing disaster preparedness and helping embed BC activities and culture across the Group.
You’ll contribute to the Security Strategy for the Group, with regular updates and briefings to the Group Head of Business Resilience on current and emerging risks to the Group’s commercial, generation and production environments.
Responsible for coordinating and implementing through Business Unit Managers, all Business Continuity activities, ensuring that business continuity is embedded in all business units and emerging projects across the Group.
Essentially, you’ll be building relationships across departments to support the requirement for a holistic business continuity approach. You’ll own the Business Continuity Management Policy maintaining its validity to the organisation, ensuring that business continuity and crisis management plans drive recovery strategies and procedures.
Attention to detail and proficiency in performing business impact analysis and threat analysis is needed, to determine the business continuity requirements and enabling departments to deliver their products and services at acceptable pre-defined levels following a disruption.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll hold a level six qualification in business continuity, although level 5 may be considered with appropriate addition, you’ll hold certification by the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) demonstrating competency across all six Professional Practices.
Familiarity with the ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards, and proprietary business continuity SaaS platforms is desirable, as is willingness to undergo the necessary training. Knowledge of the Continuity platform would be an advantage.
You’ll excel in collaboration and effective communication with senior management, utilising your experience and initiatives to implement solutions, attaining a high and robust standard of Business Continuity.
