Head of Residential Conveyancing

Our client is a highly reputed, multi-discipline law firm that has been established for over a century. Offering services for both individuals and businesses, they have been a cornerstone for legal support throughout the local community for an extensive period of time. They pride themselves on providing expert legal advice and are currently searching for a Head of Residential Conveyancing to run their growing Residential Property department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to step into a senior leadership role, shaping the direction of the department whilst ensuring clients receive a brilliant service. You will be playing a crucial role in driving growth, mentoring team members and ensuring that the department operates in an efficient and profitable manner.
Duties
* Taking full responsibility for leading and developing the Residential Property Department
* Playing a key role in business development, operational strategy and managing client relationships
* Leading a team of experienced fee earners, paralegals and legal assistants across two sites
* Fostering a positive and productive working culture
* Identifying growth opportunities for the firm
* Enhancing the firm’s profile
* Contributing to the overall success of the practice
* Exceeding fee income targets as a team whilst ensuring high service levels are maintained
You
* You must have a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience in Residential Conveyancing
* Extensive experience managing a full caseload from inception to post-completion
* Proven experience leading a team, setting targets and driving success
* Thorough knowledge of Residential Property Law in all aspects
* Exceptional client service and communication skills
* Ability to identify growth opportunities
* Proven track record of exceeding targets
* Results-driven
* Passion for the industry
* Self-motivated and able to motivate others
