IPR is an accredited 4-day week employer (80% work hours / 100% pay) and is looking for career-oriented talents for its Technical Department team:
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare new / renewal Binding Authorities, endorsements and all the relevant documents
* Prepare and check documentation and support the placing brokers within Lloyd’s and Company market
* Cover and Debit Notes, liaise with X-Changing and other Lloyd’s and company offices and bureaux
* Broking presentations for new and renewal business (includes liaising with clients in order to obtain the relevant information if needed) and slip endorsements
* Slips (including existing, new business, renewals and policy adjustments), proposal forms and full policy schedules, wordings and endorsements
* Prepare triangulations on a monthly basis
* Process risks and premium bordereau
* Process claims bordereau and claims collection in a timely fashion
* Review and provide claims history, loss information, major claims analysis and figures to other divisions, underwriters and clients
* Back-up for compliance and regulatory issues
* Deal with accounts procedures (credit control, cash allocations, accounts reconciliation, analysis of results)
* Perform Client Money calculations ensuring the correct brokerage is transferred from the IBA Accounts to Brokerage Accounts, controlling IBA Accounts reconciliations and claims settlements process
* Liaise with Velonetic regarding payment of premium to market and bureau and assist them with any queries, in addition deal with premium signing queries from the bureau or underwriters
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices, while handling insurance premium and claims money
* Understand the processing of documentation including use of DCOM, ATLAS, CRYSTAL, Da-Sats, PPL, RiskServe, ECF/CLASS System
Experience and Education
* Strong Binding Authority experience
* Proven knowledge of insurance principles and practices with a particular focus on Lloyd’s, London and International insurance markets
* Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (CASS rules and legal principles governing insurance)
* Knowledge of main classes of business (PI, PO, PA, D&O, General Liability, Legal Expenses) in which IPR is specialised
* Proficiency in insurance funds processing and policy issuance
* Proficiency in using insurance management software and other relevant technology
