We have a great opportunity for you to join the Consultants & Specialty Doctors Team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust as a Medical Education Administrator.
You will provide administrative support to the GP ST Training Programme Directors covering all aspect of the Scheme.
This post supports the delivery of high-quality medical education, through the organisation, co-ordination, and management of educational learning events. To work with the GP ST Training Programme Directors to develop the Scheme and to provide support to the GP Registrars.

To work collaboratively with the Medical Education Team to ensure effective delivery of departmental & Trust objectives e.g., answering telephone and email queries and correspondence regarding medical education issues.
Being the first point of contact for GP Registrars, Trainers, Educators, Lead Employers, GP Practices and Royal College of General Practitioners. Liaising & escalating to GP TPDs as appropriate and in line with Trust and HEEoE School policies.
Following local processes in respect of applications by GP Registrars for study leave.
On occasion it will be necessary to attend external meetings and training events which will require travel.
Manage own workload to ensure deadlines are met and quality is not compromised and ability to work independently but within the boundaries of the role and grade.
Updating and maintaining Training Programme rotations, including trainee placements both hospital and General Practice placements on Trainee Information System (TIS) and ePortfolio.
Liaising with TPDs in relation to vacancies and the construction of appropriate rotations for the recruitment process using TIS.
Communicating with newly appointed trainees: to welcome to the Scheme, confirm placement and reporting details as well as Trust and Training Programme induction event.
