We are continuing to grow our team and are currently looking to hire Trainee service engineers to carry out service and maintenance of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm & Fire Systems across a large customer base nationwide As an Trainee Service Engineer, it will be your responsibility to undertake service and maintenance calls as scheduled by our Service Desk team, and small works as requested. Once qualified you will be put onto our out-of-hours on-call rota at Amberstone to ensure full coverage to our customers 24/7/365. This rota is liable to modification in its frequency.You will be required to attend College with this opportunity. - East Midlands roles Join the ASEL Group team as a Trainee Engineer and contribute to the delivery of a variety of services including CCTV, intruder systems, access control, and fire alarm systems. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Perform servicing, maintenance, and testing of Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV IP & analogue Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, and fire systems. Follow instructions from senior engineers and learn to complete tasks independently. Provide high-quality services in a methodical and efficient manner, following detailed scope of works and working drawings. Identify and resolve issues with security systems, conduct tests with monitoring stations, and ensure proper functionality. Communicate effectively with site teams, ARC (Alarm receiving centres), and clients. Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to Health and Safety protocols, and attend relevant meetings and training sessions. Report issues to management and assist with any other tasks as needed. Technical Competencies - Essential: General knowledge of Security Systems. Strong communication and administration skills. Ability to complete necessary health and safety tests/qualifications. Possession of a Full Driving License. Successful completion of BS7858 security screening and Enhanced Disclosure Check (DBS). Main Skills: Attention to detail. Multitasking abilities.
