The post holder may provide some or all of the following, provide operational support to the Service Manager ensuring that all medical administrative staff are complying with RTT (Referral to Treatment) national and local guidelines. Support and take necessary action to ensure patients pathways are progressed to achieve RTT and cancer (where appropriate) performance targets which will also involve monitoring of data quality. Respond to PALS concerns and support the formal complaints process ensuring timely responses to concerns raised. undertaking demand and capacity reviews, overseeing the efficiency of rotas and scheduling to include theatres and outpatient activity, and other tasks as the need arises. The post holder may be expected to work across both acute sites at times as the need arises which will depend on the speciality area and its specific management structure. The post holder will act as an ambassador for the Surgical Services Group, exercising initiative in responding to requests for information or requiring action, and will be expected to support the implementation of any new processes put in place supporting staff with any operational changes.
