Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, North Benfleet Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams Create individualised learning plans that cater to the specific needs of each student Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience Knowledge and Skills: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work in a student's home Potential for remote tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
