An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Monitoring and Controls Manager to join the General Counsel team within the Group Ethics and Compliance function of Rolls-Royce, based in Derby.
As Compliance Monitoring and Controls Manager, you will have responsibility to design, implement and manage the Group wide monitoring of compliance controls assurance. You will liaise with first line functions to support control remediation activities and produce and present regular second line compliance assurance reporting.
What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity, you will get a chance to:
* Create and maintain assurance guidance materials for Ethics & Compliance, including design of the second line compliance assurance programme.
* Coordinate and provide oversight of E&C assurance activities across the Divisions, including ethics compliance maturity reviews (ECMRs) and producing and presenting regular second line compliance assurance reporting.
* Conduct groupwide risk and control reviews and ensure controls are appropriately mapped to risks.
* Support regular risk assessment activity with controls effectiveness inputs.
* Review and report on completed ECMRs, including identifying trends and root cause analysis of issues identified through ECMRs.
* Provide oversight of the Joint Venture monitoring programme.
* Implement a programme to regularly review and update controls to ensure they are accurately recorded, and any design weaknesses are identified and addressed, and implement and maintain compliance data analytics capabilities.

* Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in any relevant discipline.
* Background in audit or assurance.
* Good knowledge of risk, control and assurance.
* Experience of controls testing.
* Experience of data analytics.
