Job Purpose:
We are currently seeking experienced E&I Supervisors to join our team in Glasgow. The primary role is to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical, control, and instrumentation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise E&I Work: Oversee all field aspects of electrical and instrumentation work on site to ensure successful project completion within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
2. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all E&I activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
3. Monitor Progress: Track progress against the schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Facilitate Communication: Coordinate between site field and back-office teams and other key stakeholders.
5. Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
6. Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including work logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
7. Essential: SJIB Approved Electrician ECS Grade Card.City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent.18th Edition IEE Registration or equivalent.Health and Safety Training.GCSE passes in Maths and English or equivalent.Experience managing E&I projects in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial manufacturing.Supervisory skills including delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics.Effective communication and troubleshooting skills.
8. Desirable: Basic CRB Clearance within the past 8 weeks with Disclosure Scotland.SJIB Technician ECS Grade Card.Compex 01-04, 05-06.Inspection and testing 2391.

Working Relationships:
9. Internal: Interface with site supervision and other team members across all trades.
